Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg is back on solid ground after a scary travel experience. The New Kids on the Block frontman shared details of a flight that resulted in an unexpected landing, and we’re glad to hear he is safe.
Donnie explained that his airplane had to make an unexpected landing due to weather. He reported on his Instagram Stories from outside the airplane, along with the jet’s pilots. He said, “That was not good, but I’m safe and sound, thanks to CJ and Matthew. We made it. Whew! It wasn’t fun, but these guys are awesome.”
Donnie shared the video and wrote, “The weather was brutal, and we had to land in White Plains after a failed attempt in New Jersey, but we made it—SAFELY!”
He followed up that video with a simple “#THANKFUL. All will be okay—come what may” paired with prayer hands, a red heart, and a star emoji.
We’re so grateful to hear that Donnie is safe and back on set! He shared a behind-the-scenes video with costar Marisa Ramirez as they prepare to film the final season of Blue Bloods. Donnie wrote, “Happy Monday! Reagan & Baez are back on the set! Let’s go!”
CBS announced last week that season 14 will be the end of the popular police drama. The first 10 episodes begin on February 16, and the final 8 will air starting in Fall 2024.
