Young Sheldon Season 7 reveals huge change in Episode 4 promo

Episode 3 has only just aired, but fans are already bracing themselves for a huge change after watching the Young Sheldon Season 7 Episode 4 promo.

Sheldon Cooper is having a whale of a time in Germany in Young Sheldon Season 7 – perhaps a bit too much of a good time. Episode 3 sees him at a loose end after a train ride gone wrong, while he still tries to get his head around the idea of being tutored.

Meanwhile, it’s not been an easy time for the rest of the Cooper family either, having to navigate the ups and downs of life after the terrifying tornado seen at the end of Season 6.

Things are set to change all over again thanks to the Young Sheldon Season 7 Episode 4 promo, which reveals a huge clue about what’s about to happen next.

Thanks to the new promo for Young Sheldon Season 7 Episode 4, fans now know that Sheldon and Mary are returning home to Texas much earlier than expected – and George’s affair might be revealed after all.

In the preview clip, Missy, Georgie, Mandy, Meemaw, and George are seen welcoming Mary and Sheldon back home to Texas. It was initially speculated that their eventual return to Texas wouldn’t be until later in the series after a behind-the-scenes Instagram post went viral last month. At present, the cast is just over halfway through filming Season 7’s 14 episodes.

“Sad that they’re already back in Texas. There could have been a lot more character development both for Missy and Sheldon. But the season is too short,” one fan commented on YouTube. Historically seasons of Young Sheldon have clocked in at around 22 episodes each.

The promo also touches on potential theories surrounding George’s affair – something that has been passed down from The Big Bang Theory. According to adult Sheldon’s memory, he knocked on his parents’ door to find George in a compromising position, although this currently hasn’t been taken any further.

“This is it, the episode where Sheldon knocks 3 times,” one fan weighed in, with another adding: “So is this going to confirm that he mistook his mother for somebody else, then?”

“Honestly if they make the whole cheating a misunderstanding on Sheldon’s part I’m not sure how to feel about that it haunted him his whole life changed the way he saw his father and made him afraid to enter any room without knocking 3 times would be kind of dark if the whole thing was a dumb misunderstanding on his part,” a third mused.
