Star Wars always needs more Sith Lords to play villains and has actors who can perfectly portray a dark side Force user. The Sith Lords are some of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars films, with notable names like Darth Sidious and Darth Vader among the most powerful Sith ever. The Sith were formed by splitting off from the Jedi Order around 5,000 BBY, and they have been terrorizing the galaxy ever since.

There are currently 35 Sith Lords named in Star Wars canon, but choosing one of them or adding them to the list would be difficult. As upcoming Star Wars shows begin to delve deeper into the dark side of the Force, the birth of a new Sith Lord seems inevitable. With his red lightsaber, ruthless dark powers, and sinister plans, portraying a Sith Lord would be no small feat. Only the best actors can bring such hateful villains to life and explore the many characteristics that make them so easy to fight. Dev Patel in The Green Knight.
Dev Patel would be the perfect candidate to build on the type of Sith Lord introduced by Kylo Ren: young and inexperienced, but also strong and ruthless. His role as Sir Gawain in The Green Knight proves that Patel can pull off this type of role while still conveying the proper cunning associated with the Sith. Casting him as a Sith Lord would be the perfect opportunity for Star Wars to explore the Rule of Two of the Sith and what a young apprentice can do to surpass their master.

Christopher Judge would be a great choice to play the Sith Lord with or without the helmet. Star Wars has a long history of fearsome helmets, and a new Sith Lord could follow in Darth Vader’s footsteps by offering a voice that’s noticeable for longer than a recognizable face know. Judge found new success as a voice actor playing Kratos in the video game God of War. His booming voice is the embodiment of the Greek god, but he is also able to perfectly recreate the fear that James Earl Jones’s performance of Darth Vader instilled in his enemies.
