Chicago Fire Season 11 Finale Trailer Teases Casey & Brett’s Endgame
The new Chicago Fire season 11 finale trailer suggests that the endgame for Sylvie Brett and Matt Casey is near. It hasn’t been that long since Casey’s latest return to Chicago. While it was mostly for work after he joined a task force about keeping an eye on potential threats, he also wanted to have a conversation with his ex-girlfriend. Nothing came out of their reunion, but that may soon change in the Chicago Fire season 11 finale.

Titled “Red Waterfall,” the trailer for Chicago Fire season 11 finale focuses on Brett and Casey as they reunite, and potentially decide what lies for them in the future. Watch the video courtesy of Spoiler TV below:

For context, Brett is still seeing Dylan — her first boyfriend after her breakup with Casey in the Chicago Fire season 11 premiere. Despite that, it’s clear that she still has feelings for her old flame, so it won’t be surprising they get back together.

Why Chicago Fire Season 11 Finale Needs To Bring Casey & Brett Back Together

How Casey's 'Chicago Fire' Return Left the Door Open for Brettsey

Casey’s return will come on the heels of Brett taking on a massive responsibility as she decides to adopt a baby. While she is still quite nervous about the matter, she seems intent and adamant about it. As a natural father, reuniting with Casey and starting a family life together seems to be the perfect endgame for the couple, especially after everything they have been through in Chicago Fire season 11.

Rekindling their romance shouldn’t be difficult, considering their continued mutual love for each other. The problem is their current long-distance setup. The couple was merely dating when Casey decided to move across the country to take care of his late friend’s kids. They tried making it work, but it just was too difficult, so Brett ended the relationship. Casey admits to wanting to come back to Firehouse 51, which will make getting back together easier for them.

Overall, an active love line is also badly needed in Chicago Fire season 11. Due to Taylor Kinney’s absence, Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd’s relationship is on the rocks, especially after it was revealed that he changed plans without letting his wife know. With their future bleak, Casey and Brett getting back together could balance things out.
