Taylor Kinney rocks red lipstick in surprising Instagram post

Taylor Kinney keeps surprising us. The actor has confirmed that he will be leaving Chicago Fire soon, but he hasn’t provided any details as to why or how long he will be gone. He’s also been pretty quiet on social media, with no new posts since the news of his exit became public.

Well, at least, that was the case. Kinney made an unexpected return to Instagram last week, and its not in a fashion that any of us would have expected. The actor appeared on someone else’s IG account and decided to promote a beauty line!

Is Taylor Kinney still posting on social media?

On February 20, Kinney made a surprise cameo on the IG account for Bixa Beauty, a vegan-friendly beauty line. He can be seen wearing bright red lipstick and posing with the founder of the Bixa in a pair of silly photos.

The caption on the IG post reads: “Turn things up with Bixa Beauty! @taylorkinney111 is wearing our TOP SELLER Belle of the Ball!!! You should wear it too!” The post was shared by Kinney Fire co-star and onscreen wife, Miranda Rae Mayo.

Kinney definitely looks in good spirits; goofing around and promoting local brands, which may be a surprise to some since he’s leaving the show due to an unspecified personal matter. We won’t find out what the personal matter is most likely, but we hope it’s something that isn’t too serious (at least in a negative sense).

Kinney’s own IG account has remained quiet, with his last post being on December 9. He hasn’t given an interview since the top of the year, and he’s also been quiet on how his character will be written off the show. It makes sense; actors want to both maintain their privacy and allows the showrunners to reveal information as they see fit.
