Taylor Kinney continues his post-Chicago Fire renaissance on social media

The actor made an appearance on his girlfriend’s Instagram on Monday, April 18, weeks after his last episode on the firefighting drama.

The video shows Kinney riding a motorcycle on a professional track while his girlfriend, Ashley Cruger, sits behind him and records the ride. It’s an exciting video, and one that should come as no surprise given Kinney’s affinity for racing and motorcycles in particular. Check out the full video here.

Is Taylor Kinney on Instagram?

Kinney has posted tons of photos of him working on and riding motorcycles over the years, and in 2013 he told USA Today that his grandfather was the person who inspired his love for them at a young age.

“I remember I was always enamored by and loved motorcycles as a kid”, he told the outlet. “My grandfather had motorcycles and I remember going for a ride and then after that I was hooked. And then in first or second grade, I ganked a book from the library just because it had a dirt bike with trails. It was one of those things where as a kid, the world is your oyster as far as what you can do, and you don’t associate jobs and things with making money.”

The actor has also used his stardom to promote various racing events. Last week, he attended the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas for MotoGP races at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, with Cruger. The event benefits veterans through “active participation and involvement in the global motorsports community.”

Kinney even posed for a photo at the event, which was posted to the MotoUp Instagram account.
