Season 13 has lost its charm. It’s Time to End Blue Bloods: “It’s Getting Too Ridiculous”

The Blue Bloods, once unstoppable in the field of police dramas, are suddenly showing signs of wear and tear. Season 13, at least according to some disappointed fans, hasn’t been kind to our beloved Reagans.

What was once a powerhouse drama, filled with gripping stories and compelling characters, leaving fans scratching their heads and asking, “What happened?” Some say the writing in Season 13 has lost its charm. The plots are straying into the realm of the ridiculous and the characters we’ve loved for more than a decade are acting… well, completely out of character.

Take our dashing Jamie, for instance, recovering from a gut blow like he has some super healing abilities in the season 13 premiere storyline. Or Eddie… Well, don’t let humans fan starts with this unlucky character – it’s like there’s a constant stream of hate for her.

Some fans can’t help but feel that the Reagans have lost their way in this latest season, even going as far as to call the show “too ridiculous”.

Of course, every TV show has its defenders.

Some fans argue that Blue Bloods is still tackling real-world issues in a way that makes it stand out from other police dramas. They point out that the film is not as pompous as other films of the same genre, like The Rookie or 911.

And good people always win, celebrate another victory with another family dinner? For some, it’s just the comfort they need.

News of Blue Bloods being extended for a 14th season, despite budget and salary cuts, has sparked a debate that has yet to end.

“How much is too much?” some fans are asking, suggesting that maybe it’s time for the Reagans to hang up their badges.

But keep in mind that television history is full of police dramas that have managed to maintain appeal over the years. Law & Order, NCIS, anyone? They did it, and maybe the Blue Bloods can too. After all, some fans swear the show won’t end until Tom Selleck goes into the sunset.

So when Season 14 came out, the question remained: Can the Blue Bloods take back the magic that made us love it? We’ll have to wait and see. Until then, here’s hoping that our favorite NYPD family finds its way back into form – and that the Writers Guild of America strike won’t affect season 14’s scripts anymore.
