‘NCIS: LA’ Star Daniela Ruah Shows Off ‘Happy Place’ in Tropical Photos

The actress is on location in Portugal to film her upcoming project.

Daniela Ruah spent some time in her “happy place” prior to filming her new TV series.

The actress shared a handful of photos from Portugal—where she notes she got married—with the first snap showing her lounging on a chair with the picturesque blue ocean views behind her. Ruah opted for comfy black leggings, a t-shirt, white kicks, and a sun hat.

The second photo features a special appearance from her dad, as the duo got some fresh air while smiling for the camera. The third and final video in the carousel gave fans a better look at the serene scenery, with giant waves and palm trees galore, along with a brief pan over to dad.

“My happy place… with my pops… before the intensity starts on The Traitors (Portugal) 🌞” she captioned the post, which she also translated to Portugese.

Fans took to the comment section to remind her to “enjoy her time,” while another noted, “Just beautiful. One day I will get there to visit ❤️.”

One other fan sent “Love to dad,” while others suggested, “❤️enjoy father and daughter time.”

As Ruah pointed out, she’s gearing up to host the Portuguese version of The Traitors airing on the channel SIC.

She even gave a sneak peek at the upcoming reality show in the form of a teaser trailer on Instagram. Per the synopsis for the American version, “Contestants in the game move into a majestic castle and work as a team to complete a series of dramatic and challenging missions to earn money for the prize pot. Some contestants are traitors some are loyal.”

Her new small-screen role comes as she wraps up her time as Kensi Blye on the long-running series, NCIS: Los Angeles. Back in January, CBS announced that the drama will close at the end of its current 14th season. Earlier this week, it was announced that the show would would be getting an extra episode for its final season, ending with a two-part series finale that will wrap up all the storylines. It will then be followed by the special, CBS Presents A Salute to NCIS: Los Angeles.

The two-part series finale will be spread over two Sundays with part one airing on May 14 and the second concluding on May 21.

Both episodes will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

In addition to The TraitorsHello reports that Ruah is set to appear in a new Netflix thriller titled Rabo de Peixe, marking the streamer’s second original Portuguese series.
