Method Man will have a major role in Blue Bloods’s two-part season finale.

The actor will star as a fearsome member of the Warrior Kings street gang suspected of murdering the NYPD Gang Division chief and his wife.

His character Mario Hunt will come into conflict with Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his team when he is questioned over the crime, reports TV Line.

The Wu-Tang Clan member’s most memorable television credits include playing drug dealer ‘Cheese’ Wagstaff in The Wire and prison inmate Tug Daniels in Oz.

Method Man has also appeared in the films Red Tails and Garden State.

Blue Bloods airs on Fridays at 10pm ET on CBS. Sky Atlantic airs the show in the UK.
