The Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant in Coquitlam will be the celebrity chef’s fourth in North America.
If you’re craving a burger with a side dish of celebrity, you may want to circle Dec. 4 on your calendar.
That’s when Canada’s first Gordon Ramsay Burger restaurant officially opens at Coquitlam’s Great Canadian Casino Vancouver. (2080 United Blvd.), officially rebranding from Hard Rock Casino Vancouver next month.
The celebrity chef, known for his brusque, demanding demeanour on his several televisions shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, opened his first burger restaurant in Las Vegas in 2012. He’s since added locations in Boston and Chicago.
They complement his voluminous other dining ventures like Gordon Ramsay Steak, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza and Ramsay’s Kitchen.
The burger restaurant features a variety of gourmet burgers like the Blue Cheeseburger that’s topped with blue cheese, caramelized onions, crispy onion ring, frisée, blue cheese dressing, bibb lettuce and spicy aioli or the Hell’s Kitchen burger that’s crowned with mozzarella cheese, roasted jalapeno peppers, avocado and roasted tomato.
In a previous news release, Ramsay said, “Canada has a strong culinary market and we can’t wait to welcome guests into our new restaurants” that also includes his steak restaurant opening in Richmond’s River Rock Casino.
“We are absolutely thrilled to bring Gordon Ramsay’s extraordinary gastronomic vision to our properties,” Great Canadian CEO Matthew Anfinson said.
Gordon Ramsay Burger will be open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
