FBI Most Wanted Season 5: Release Date, Cast Changes & Everything We Know

Dick Wolf’s FBI franchise has faced monumental success, so what’s in store for season 5 of FBI’s first spinoff series, FBI: Most Wanted?

The FBI franchise’s first spinoff series FBI: Most Wanted finished off its fourth season, prompting many to wonder if there’s any FBI: Most Wanted season 5 news to resolve the leftover tension. Much like its parent series, Most Wanted focuses on a special branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and in this case, it’s the highly specialized Fugitive Task Force. The Fugitive Task Force is responsible for hunting down criminals on the famed FBI’s Most Wanted list, which usually includes ten suspects who could’ve committed various crimes, from bank robbery to serial murder, but are always a considerable danger to society.

Currently, audiences can watch FBI: Most Wanted on Paramount+ to catch up before season 5 debuts. The show has seen some major cast changes over the years, seeing the Fugitive Task Force initially manned by Team Lead and Supervisory Special Agent Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon) before his season 3 departure. As of now, that role has been filled by Remy Scott (Dylan McDermott), and while several agents have come and gone, a few key players remain.

The ending of FBI: Most Wanted season 4 gave small clues as to what season 5 could be about, and outside the usual case-of-the-week format, a few storylines will persist. First and foremost, Remy’s discovery of his brother’s killer and his long-lost nephew will certainly have to be addressed in the new season. Outside of that, FBI: Most Wanted season 5 will also likely attempt to integrate Agent Nina Chase into the team as a full-time member.
