Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 4 Trailer Teases ANOTHER Major Death

The newly released trailer for Chicago Fire season 11 episode 4 teases another major death after the unexpected and tragic demise of [SPOILER].

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Chicago Fire season 11 episode 3A brand-new Chicago Fire season 11 episode 4 trailer teases another major death after Chief Hawkins. Firehouse 51 hasn’t been back long, but it has already been a busy year for Chief Boden and his crew. Aside from the team’s regular missions around the city, most of them are also navigating their personal affairs.

For many of Firehouse 51’s firefighters and paramedics, however, their colleagues are also their closest friends. It’s a big reason why they have been effective as a team. So, losing a member is always difficult. The squad just had to let Matt Casey go in Chicago Fire season 10, and Chief Hawkins just died after a tragic accident. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like he’s the last person to exit the first-responder procedural this year.

Not long after the catastrophic cinema fire that claimed Hawkins’ life, Firehouse 51 may be due for another big loss. In the new Chicago Fire season 11 episode 4 trailer (via SpoilerTV), the team responds to an incident in the playground, where someone got trapped under the rubble. It’s uncertain who it is, but the clip definitely plays up the idea that it’s someone from Chief Boden’s crew.

Who Could Die Next In Chicago Fire

Chicago Fire season 11 episode 4

The trailer reveals very little about who the victim is in Chicago Fire season 11 episode 4, and that’s by design. But one particular detail stands out – the revelation that a young child is involved. Given this, it’s possible that it could be Javi, Joe’s foster son, which means the Squad member could be somehow involved in this incident. Perhaps they were out in the park playing when the accident happened. However, it’s unclear why he wouldn’t be on shift when the rest of Chief Boden’s team is on-call. Otherwise, it could be Joe’s wife, Chloe. While she isn’t technically part of Firehouse 51, she is treated as such, given her familial ties.

It’s worth noting that, unlike the promo for the previous episode that saw Chief Hawkins die, this one doesn’t definitively say that there’s another death looming on the show. Perhaps, the team pull through this time just to give Firehouse 51 a breather after they lost Chief Hawkins. But if another one of them is really about to die, it’s curious why NBC has been piling all these tragedies early on in Chicago Fire season 11. Aside from potential multiple deaths, the premiere saw the brief but heartbreaking split between Matt Casey and Sylvie Brett — something that they could have easily done in the season 10 finale.
