Blue Bloods Will Be Coming To An End In 2024

Growing up, it was you could watch Law & Order at any given time of the day. Some channel would be airing it somewhere. These days, Blue Bloods is the same. It’s an institution. It’s one that we love.

And so hey, we’re going to admit that we’re sorry to see it end.

That’s right, Blue Bloods is coming to an end. CBS announced that the show will end with its 14th and final season. The season will have 18 episodes, with the the first 10 episodes running mid-season. It will premiere on February 16, 2024.

The last eight episodes will run in the fall 2024 season. And then it will be just watching it in reruns.

Our hearts are sad, but we get it. There is a time where all good things come to an end.

Blue Bloods will forever be a beloved part of CBS’s legacy. It ruled Friday nights with unprecedented dominance since its premiere and established itself as a pillar of our winning lineup with an exceptionally devoted fan base,” Amy Reisenbach, President, CBS Entertainment and David Stapf, President, CBS Studios, said in a statement.

The two continued, “We’ll be forever grateful to the legendary Leonard Goldberg for developing this signature series and to the amazing cast led by Tom Selleck, who America embraced as family and watched as welcomed guests at the Reagan dinner table. We also sincerely thank the incredible writing and producing teams guided by executive producer Kevin Wade, for years of compelling episodes as they conceive this final chapter that we expect to be the most satisfying season yet for our loyal viewers.”

We’re sad to see it go, but look forward to its final chapter.
