It’s official Blue Bloods fans, you can breathe a sigh of relief because Blue Bloods is on its way back for season 14. The SAG-AFTRA writers and actors strike ended just last week meaning production for TV and movies can start up again and the networks aren’t wasting any time. CBS announced that Blue Bloods will return to TV on February 16, 2024, in its normal Friday night slot. That means actors have a quick turn-around, as filming has still yet to begin for the new season.

“Gather around! The #BlueBloods season 14 premiere is on Friday, February 16. We’re expecting you. 💙,” the Blue Bloods series account captioned their post announcing the premiere date.

Though it is one of the longest running police-centric television shows in history (though it’s more of a family drama in reality), fans just can’t seem to get enough of the First Family of the NYPD and Reagan family dinners. Fans ran to the comments filled with excitement commenting: “Can’t Wait, Can’t Wait, Can’t Wait…. did I mention I CAN’T WAIT? 😍” and “So excited to have a season 14 premiere date for #BlueBloods and so happy for the cast and crew to be back. See you Feb 16/24 💙.”

Bridget Moynahan shared the news on her Instagram account with the caption, “Back to work people!! So excited!”

The usual suspects including Tom Selleck, Will Estes, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Marissa Ramirez, Vanessa Ray, and Len Cariou among other will return for season 14. We can’t wait to see what the writers and actors have in store for us this season!

If you need to catch up on past seasons or are in need of a refresher, you can stream the entire series now on Paramount+ or season 1 though 9 on Hulu. Now all that’s left to do is count down the days until February 16, 2024!
