Blue Bloods: season 13 after a year that saw many changes for the Reagan family.

Blue Bloods is gearing up for their final episodes of season 13 after a year that saw plenty of changes for the Reagan family. Plus, thanks to a renewal by the CBS network, fans will get to join the family at the dinner table for another season! Before we get to that though, when is the Blue Bloods season 13 finale?

When the show was picked up, it actually came later than several other CBS shows were announced as coming back for the 2023-2024 season. It turned out that negotiations regarding budget cuts were the main reason for the delay in news whether the show would be canceled.

In order to ensure that their crew would continue to remain employed, the cast agreed to salary reductions in order to keep the show afloat for another year.

Blue Bloods Won't Air New Episodes Until January 31st

The last episode of season 13, “Forgive Us Our Trespasses,” will see the return of Jennifer Esposito as Jackie Curatola, Danny’s former partner.

According to the synopsis, “Danny and Baez team up with Danny’s old partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito), to find a copycat killer emulating murders from a previous case. Also, Frank and Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) battle over how best to handle the city’s rising homeless population; and Jamie, Eddie, and Erin team up to build evidence against a previously released man who they believe is again committing criminal assault.”

It also looks like we will see the return of Sami Gayle and Tony Terraciano as Nicky Reagan-Boyle and Jack Reagan!

When is the Blue Bloods season 13 finale?
The Blue Bloods season 13 finale will air on Friday, May 19 and is set to air at 10/9c. If you are unable to watch it live, it will be available on Paramount+.
