BLUE BLOODS FANS CELEBRATE RETURN OF BELOVED CHARACTER IN SEASON 13

Fans of the CBS show BLUE BLOODS were recently treated to a behind-the-scenes photo, hinting at the return of a familiar character!

Joe Hill (played by Will Hochman) is the grandson of family patriarch Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck). His father, Joe Reagan, was killed in the line of duty.

BLUE BLOODS’ official Instagram account shared a behind-the-scenes picture that confirmed Joe’s return to the show in the 13th season.

Fans quickly flooded the post’s comment section with enthusiasm about Joe coming back to the Movieguide® Award-nominated show.

“Why is joe not a permanent character, we love him!!!!” one person wrote.

“So happy to see Joe. What a great addition. More of his character please,” another commented.

CBS gave fans some clues about why Joe returned in a description of the episode, titled “Nothing Sacred”:

Reagan family tensions run high when Frank and his grandson, Joe Hill (Will Hochman), contend with a grievous insult to the memory of Joe’s father, Joe Reagan. Also, Erin and Henry work together to bust an over-the-phone scammer targeting the elderly; Danny intervenes in an undercover assignment led by his spiraling former partner; and Eddie’s captain takes suspicious interest in her efforts to locate a stolen puppy.

The episode aired on January 6 and, while there is no news about a permanent return for Joe, fans have their fingers crossed for more episodes with Frank’s grandson!
