‘Blue Bloods’ Fans Can’t Get Over This “Flirty” Danny and Baez Scene

Blue Bloods is in its 13th season, and while some things change with the CBS drama (cases, jobs, family dynamics), some things stay the same, like the relationship between Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez). The two have been partners since the show’s third season, and, since Danny’s wife, Linda, passed away in season 8, some fans have been begging for them to be in a romantic relationship.

The official Blue Bloods instagram account recently shared a clip of the two that is best described as “flirty.” The caption reads, “There’s nothing quite like words of affirmation from your partner in crime.” The video shows Danny and Baez doing a walk-and-talk through the precinct complimenting each other’s outfits. Fans flooded the comments section once again showing their appreciation for this couple.

“Flirting more like 😉”

“Those aren’t words of affirmation, those are flirting words!”

“Honestly, I didn’t want Daez to be a thing but now I hope they’re endgame. I love the idea of them raising little Elena together and they have such great chemistry.”

“the caption should be ‘danny and baez flirting for 20 seconds'”

“Can these 2 just get it over with already? DATE DATE DATE”

Of course, not everyone agrees. Some fans chimed in with comments like, “No!! Partners/friends, BEST friends …but NOT a couple!” and “Nooo. Baez is like a sister! Leave it alone!”

Unfortunately for some viewers, showrunner Kevin Wade has shut down any Danny and Baez rumors.
