Veteran comedy star Bill Cosby struck a defiant pose and received a standing ovation at one of his live performances in the US this weekend as he faces growing accusations of Rape and sexual assault were made public by more than a dozen women.

Pumping his fist, Cosby, 77, was cheered during his stand-up comedy performance in Melbourne, Florida, on Friday night, where die-hard fans flocked to show their support. The enduring television superstar is known by the amusing nickname “My Dad”.
