It’s officially been confirmed Ahsoka is coming back for a second season on Disney Plus. A new rumor suggests a fan-favorite Star Wars villain will also return for the show’s sophomore outing.

Ahsoka ended up being the surprising love letter to the universe that Star Wars fans have been missing for the past few years. The Disney Plus series brought back dozens of iconic characters in a continuation of the Star Wars Rebels storyline. However, it seems season 2 will be reaching back even further, with Hollywood insider DanielRPK revealing Hayden Christensen will return as Anakin Skywalker.

However, with Ahsoka introducing the “World Between Worlds” outside of time and space, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to see an alternate version of the beloved Star Wars character appear in the Disney Plus series.

The Ahsoka Tano series is being developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The latter co-created Ahsoka alongside George Lucas, with the heroine making her first appearance in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
