After Everything is the fifth movie in the After film series. The movie series focuses on the development of Hardin Scott and Tessa Young’s relationship. Hardin and Tessa love each other, but everything about their relationship is toxic and complicated. In the fifth movie, Hardin and Tessa fight and break up again after Tessa finds a manuscript about their love story, named After. Hardin finds himself lost with continuous flashbacks about Tessa. He resorts to drinking and clubbing, even though he isn’t quite enjoying it. Hardin and Tessa temporarily move on with life, with the essence of each other still in their hearts.
Two years have passed. Landon asks Hardin to be his best man, and Tessa is the maid of honor for Nora. After their first encounter in two years, Tessa and Hardin reconcile after she hears Hardin’s best man speech that resonates with her. In a flashforward, Hardin is carrying a book titled Later. He enters the house to greet a little girl and a visibly pregnant Tessa.
