Young & Restless (April 7-11): Ashley Returns Amid Alan’s Messy Drama

The Young and the Restless spoilers for April 7-11 focus on a couple of returns. Ashley finally returns home just in time for Alan to arrive in Genoa City after he claimed he was in Paris. Also, Chance deals with a case and finds time to get closure. Meanwhile, Audra considers an offer…from Victor Newman.
Next Week on The Young and the Restless
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returns home to chaos, which is all you need to know about the week the Abbott family is about to have. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) anticipate the Alan (Christopher Cousins) situation to come to a head since he’s returning from Paris for the wedding. Or so he thinks. What Traci really needs to do is look him in the eyes to determine whether he is who he says he is or if he’s really Alan’s evil twin, Martin (also Christopher Cousins).

As the week continues, things start to get more dire. Look for Traci to make a distress call. Should this tell us that Alan really is Martin? Later, Jack and Ashley worry about Traci’s safety. Finally, Traci demands answers from Alan. So next week is pivotal for the Abbotts.
All-Star Team-Up
Meanwhile, Alan Laurent will most certainly be involved in what’s going on with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford, March’s Y&R Performer of the Month) and Sharon (Sharon Case). First, they learn new information about their kidnapper. Does the dynamic duo finally find out about the Alan and Martin evil twin psychological torturer angle?

The two have already created a bond of sorts from their time stuck at that former psych clinic, and it has continued to develop since their rescue. Now, they’re going to have to rely on each other in a big way when Sharon and Phyllis form a surprising alliance.
Odds & Ends
Chance (Conner Floyd) has personal and professional dealings the week of April 7. Apparently, the Chance/Summer (Allison Lanier) relationship, or whatever you want to call it, is coming to an end. Look for Chance to find closure with Summer. As far as what we presume is the Alan case, the detective ends up uncovering shocking information. Does he find proof that Alan is Martin? Or maybe he finds out that Alan/Martin had an accomplice? What kind of intel does he find?
In other news, Victor (Eric Braeden) vows to punish Kyle (Michael Mealor), probably because the Jabot co-CEO dared to flaunt his relationship with Claire (Hayley Erin) in his face. Or maybe it’s because he’s on to Victor’s spies at Glissade.

The Victor/Kyle war undoubtedly connects to Audra’s circumstances. Victor and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) ran into each other at Crimson Lights, and according to the show’s Next Week On video preview, the two sit down for an interesting chat about Kyle and revenge. So that must be why Audra considers a tempting offer.
