“Will Tracker Return for Another Season? CBS Drops Major Update!”

The hit CBS procedural crime drama Tracker, starring Justin Hartley, just had its winter premiere on Feb. 16, but the network has decided where it will go with the series in the future. Per Deadline, Tracker has been renewed for a third season on CBS. The series is the most-watched scripted series on broadcast television currently, with an average of 18 million viewers across platforms in 35 days, per Variety.

The second half of Tracker’s second season, which continues on Feb. 23, consists of 14 episodes, bringing the total for Season 2 up to 22 episodes. The first season of Tracker had just 13 episodes in total. The show has an 89% Rotten Tomatoes Critics Score and was also the most-watched TV show in the 2023-24 season, drawing 10.8 million weekly viewers.

CBS seems to have struck gold once again when it comes to the procedural drama genre, Tracker, which focuses on a new case each week for Hartley’s Colter Shaw as well as a continuing storyline. Hartley, known for his starring role as Kevin Pearson on NBC’s This is Us, before becoming the titular Tracker, stars as Shaw, who is a survivalist who uses his instincts to find missing persons and collect the rewards for doing so.
