The Real Housewives Of Atlanta is set to return to television screens next year with a brand new look. Bravo confirmed the cast for the sixteenth season of the reality show, and only two women who starred in the most recent season are set to return, Drew Sidora and Kenya Moore. The casting news was first reported by B Scott.
As previously announced, Kandi Burruss, who shared her life with fans for 14 consecutive will not be returning. The singer shared the news, explaining her plans of “working on a lot of other things,” promising “big projects coming soon.”

Additionally, Olympic champion Sanya Richards-Ross and Marlo Hampton, who appeared first as a friend and became a central housewife in season 14, have both confirmed their exits. Sheree Whitfield has also been left out of season 16 casting news. Although there are a handful of veterans leaving, fans can expect the return of a few familiar faces.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Porsha Williams will return to the RHOA franchise. Her comeback comes amid a rocky divorce, and includes an overall deal for “scripted project opportunities”. Bravo confirmed she is not the only alumnae reviving their story. Kenya Moore will also make her way back to the series as a housewife, and Cynthia Bailey is set to appear as a friend of the core group.
Longtime friend of the cast Shamea Morton Mwangi has been upgraded to a leading housewife. As a new full-time cast member, she is joined by other fresh faces: Motivational speaker, podcast host, and author, Brittany Eady, professional chef, restaurateur, and Food Network Alumna Kelli Ferrell, and entrepreneur, real estate professional, and wife of NBA legend Charles Oakley, Angela Oakley.

“We’ve got wonderful casting,” detailed executive producer Andy Cohen earlier this year, per PEOPLE. “We’ve got some amazing new gals, and this is gonna feel, I’m feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta, so just standby and you will hear more.”
Production on RHOA Season 16 is slated to begin in May 2024 with a season premiere set for 2025.
“This season brings a new attitude and fresh perspective as the journey continues for these triumphant housewives as they cultivate new friendships and flourish in their careers and social circles,” detailed Bravo.
