Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is charging £275 – $485 (around VND12 million) per person for Christmas dinner at one of his restaurants. Drinks are not included in the price.
Gordon Ramsay’s London-based restaurant Pétrus recently released a tempting sample menu. The six-course meal features lobster and egg ravioli, followed by a choice of Dover or Cumbrian venison, along with Brillat-Savarin, sorbet and hazelnut soufflé.

Last year, the Michelin-starred chef made headlines when he offered a similar festive menu for a similar amount. Other restaurants owned by the MasterChef host are also offering Christmas treats. The Savoy has a lavish menu for a similar amount to Pétrus.
The seven-course dinner includes lobster, beef wellington and shellfish cocktail. For dessert: Christmas pudding or Chestnut Mont Blanc. Like Pétrus, the hefty price tag does not include a 15% tip.

The Kitchen’s Nightmare star is offering a Christmas dinner for less. Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, in Mayfair, is offering meals for $265 – the equivalent of VND6 million (£250) per person. Diners can enjoy canapés alongside their choice of starter, main and dessert. Main course options include roast turkey plus trimmings, roast venison and artichoke risotto.
Like other Ramsay-owned restaurants, a 15% service charge will also be added to the final bill. The TV personality’s flagship London eatery, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, was previously named the third most expensive in the world.
