Tracy is leading the Quartermaines into a battle with Drew.
What would General Hospital be without Tracy? With Lila and now Monica gone, she is the Matriarch of the Quartermaines and a joy to watch. Sometimes Tracy can be a bit prickly, but recently she has been at her best.
Mean Girl No More
Tracy (Jane Elliott) has been through it all over the years. Sometimes she is at her worst, like when she wouldn’t give her father his heart medication back in the day. Other times, she’s amazing.
Recently, she has been unkind to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Michael’s (Chad Duell) ex worked hard as the Q cook but Tracy wouldn’t give her a break. The queen of the castle bullied her and picked on every little thing. It was not a good look for Tracy, but she is now changing her attitude towards her employee. She seemed to gain respect for the cook when Sasha finally stood up to her.
The shift in attitude may also be related to Sasha’s carrying a Q baby. Tracy and the rest of the family believe it is Jason’s (Steve Burton) when it is actually Michael’s. But a Quartermaine is a Quartermaine so either way the baby is a part of them. She is also finally embracing Jason and is beginning to look at him as an important part of the family.
Family First
Tracy is truly at her best when it comes to protecting the family and now is the time for that. Drew (Cameron Mathison) may be a Q by blood (or is he?) but he has gone against them so this means war. You do not want to go up against the matriarch when she is in protective mode, which is exactly where she is now.
Drew has been so atrocious that she wants him to give back the family name. Of course he won’t because he would lose some of his clout and the congressman does not want that. Now his attorney, Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) is threatening to bulldoze the Quartermaine mausoleum unless she drops her cease and desist order against her nephew. She called his bluff.
Martin may be a ruthless attorney, but going up against Tracy when she is angry isn’t a smart move. She wants to take down Drew and will stop at nothing. She may even join forces with people she is not fond of to do so. How great would it be to see her team up with Carly (Laura Wright) and Nina (Cynthia Watros)?
Tracy is ready for war and we are here for it. There is nothing better than watching her go up against an enemy and this time she will have the whole family backing her up. Are you loving the Quartermaine Queen? Let us know in the comments section.
