In the same episode, Colter visits Gina’s sister, Camille (Floriana Lima), with whom he has grown very close over the years. Usually, Colter doesn’t like to make promises to the families that hire him to find their missing loved ones, but he breaks that rule for Camille, proving how much he cares about her. Colter Teams up With Familiar Faces and New Allies in Season 2 of ‘Tracker’

Throughout Season 2 of Tracker, Colter Shaw has reconnected with a few familiar faces, starting with his brother, Russell (Jensen Ackles), who helped Colter on a case in Episode 2. Ackles hasn’t made any additional appearances so far this season, but he is expected to return, and more Shaw family secrets will emerge. Hartley and Ackles continue to have great on-screen chemistry, so it’ll be great to have them back together on the screen for the back half of the season.

Colter’s nemesis Billie (Sofie Pernas) also returned this season, this time bringing him a case for them to work on together. While Colter is initially skeptical of Billie’s motives, she reveals that the missing high school pitcher is from her hometown, a place she left under difficult circumstances. Her personal connection to the case gives Colter a little more insight into who Billie is, softening their tense rivalry, leaving the door open for future collaborations.

‘Tracker’s Mid-Season Finale Ended With a Cliffhanger That Sets Up the Rest of Season 2

After Colter solved the main case in the mid-season finale, he gets a phone call from his new friend, Keaton, with a major break in Gina’s case. Colter meets Keaton at an undisclosed address where he has a suspect, Alex (Johnny Rey Diaz), tied to a chair. It’s revealed that Alex is a former associate of Frank’s and has more information about what might have happened to Gina. Alex tells Colter that back then, he and Frank were involved in “bad stuff” and that a man they called “Teacher” made them do terrible things, including luring Gina to a place called the Farm.

The episode ends on that massive cliffhanger, setting up a compelling back half of the season with a lot of unanswered questions. Who is “Teacher” and what is the Farm? And, even though Gina told Colter she was moving on from Gina’s case, would he tell her about this new development? Either way, it seems like Colter and Keaton are on to something huge, which could lead to answers surrounding Gina’s disappearance.

The trailer for the midseason premiere promises plenty of twists and turns as Colter continues his search for the truth about Gina’s disappearance while handling a new missing person case each week. The back half of the season promises new guest stars, action-packed altercations, and fresh mysteries for Colter and his team. If the first eight episodes are any indication, the rest of Season 2 will have record-breaking audiences tuning in to watch Colter Shaw do what he does best.
