Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is famous for his expletive-laden rants and grumpy demeanour, but when it comes to his family, he can certainly show his softer side.
Ramsay and his wife Tana recently welcomed their sixth child, a baby boy named Jesse James, after keeping the pregnancy a “secret”.

The 57-year-old chef introduced his newborn son in a series of Instagram photos on November 12.
In a sweet update, Ramsay has shared cute footage of their four-year-old son Oscar showering his new little brother with affection.
In the video, Oscar cuddled Jesse and kissed him on the forehead, while Tana said in the background: “What were you calling him?”
“My sweetheart,” Oscar replied as Jesse let out a big yawn.
“And ‘you’re gorgeous’,” Tana added.
“Gorgeous!” Oscar repeated, giving Jesse another kiss on the head.
A second video showed Oscar playing on the beach, with his dad in the background asking: “Oscar, you good? You spotted any dolphins yet?”
“Brothers in arms, bonding as brothers should do,” the post was captioned.
“Happy Thanksgiving, sending love from all the Ramsay’s ❤️.”
Apart from Oscar and Jesse, Gordon and Tana Ramsay have four adult children, Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23. and Matilda, 22.
In 2016 Tana gave birth to their son Rocky prematurely at just 20 weeks gestation, but as she heartbreakingly wrote on Instagram, he was “too little to survive”.
Fans loved the sweet family feel of Ramsay’s latest post.
“Happy Thanksgiving, you and your family have so much to be thankful for,” one follower wrote.
“Best post of Thanksgiving! Love you Ramsay family,” wrote another.
“So, so sweet Chef!” added a third.
“The most beautiful moment.”
‘Blessed with this little bundle’
In announcing Jesse’s arrival, Ramsay noted that his new son was a “7lbs 10oz whopper!”
“One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls … Done 👊🏼,” he added.
Tana, 49, also posted on Instagram: “It’s been a nerve-wracking 9 months but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle.”
“Ramsay family definitely complete,” she added.
“Jesse James Ramsay we love you so much ❤️🙏🏼.”
Celebrity fans and friends rushed to congratulate the pair on the new addition to their family.
“Congrats mate!” Hugh Jackman wrote.
“Congrats,” echoed fellow actor Jeremy Renner.
“Congratulations xxx we love u all xx,” Victoria Beckham said.
“Wow super mum congratulations! Jesse James,” fellow chef Jamie Oliver wrote.
Ramsay married cookery book author Tana in 1996.
