Bill Cosby was once a beloved comedian and actor. He made a name for himself through stand-up acting and starred in his own sitcom The Cosby Show. The show was a huge success and ran for eight seasons.
However, there was one actress on the show who Cosby said had a strained relationship. The actress will be transferred from The Cosby Show to a spin-off series titled A Different World. But when the actress told Cosby she was pregnant, he kicked her off that show, too.

Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet first met in the elevator at the New Edition concert. The two become friends and their relationship develops. The two quickly became entangled in a romance that led to their wedding at the Chapel of Love in Las Vegas.
Bonet co-wrote two songs on Kravitz’s debut album “Let Love Rule”. When speaking with Men’s Health about his memoir of the same name, he reflected on Bonet’s influence on him.
“The voice I was looking for, the name, the image was all there,” Kravitz said. “That was the first time I was so open and knew love like that, freedom. And watching her do what she did, the way she carried herself, in her artistic life—that was the last thing I needed, on this path. Kravitz would eventually release the hit “It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over”, a song addressed to Bonet in 1991. They would divorce in 1993 and Zoë spent most of her time with Bonet in Los Angeles. She then moved to Miami when she was 11 years old to live with Kravitz.
Kravitz said Zoë is “the most real person I know” and praised her for finding her own path to success.
“Just having two parents who are known to the world. That’s the comparison,” Kravitz said. “She doesn’t let anything hold her back in any way.”

In an interview with The Guardian in 2015, Zoë was asked if Bonet had ever spoken to her about the allegations against Cosby.
“She didn’t, she really didn’t,” she said. “She pleaded for the fifth thing, even with me. I think she just stayed away from it. She was as disgusted and worried as everyone else, but I don’t think she had any insight come on. That was news to her too.”
Zoë was then asked if she understood why the public assumed her mother knew something.
“Of course,” Zoë said. “She’s been on this show for a long time. She’s also a beautiful woman. That surprised everyone. She’s a very straightforward person. After Bonet’s initial departure from The Cosby Show, she was transferred to the spin-off sitcom A Different World.
The show follows Bonet’s character, Denise Huxtable, as she goes to college. Debbie Allen was brought in as director and worked alongside Bonet.
However, her time with Bonet was short-lived after Bonet was fired from the show. According to Allen, Bonet told her she was pregnant. Allen insisted they would tell Cosby, so they both came to deliver the news.
