Simon Cowell cuts Dublin auditions down in new boy band search

The former X Factor judge announced earlier this month he would hold auditions in the capital
Simon Cowell has decided to cut his Dublin auditions down to just one day as he searches for a new boy band, we can reveal.
The former X Factor judge announced earlier this month he would hold auditions in the capital across two days on Sunday, July 28 and Monday, July 29. But after a poor turnout in Liverpool, according to reports, Cowell has cut his audition days in Dublin to just one day and we can reveal the location.
Applause Store announced Simon will only host one day of auditions on July 28 instead at The Exo Building, North Wall Quay in Dublin 1 and auditions will be split into two groups. A rep has been contacted for comment as to why Simon has cut back to just one day.

Auditions kicked off in Liverpool on July 6 but it appears only a small number of men lined up at the Albert Dock venue. According to a newspaper, just a handful of pop wannabes turned up, with the queue never amounting to more than 40 people. Despite this, Simon viewed the weekend as a success. Taking to Instagram, the TV judge shared his excitement about the journey ahead.
He penned: “Liverpool. Thank you! I knew we had to come to your city and you really did deliver. It’s very inspiring to see how many of you really want this.
“No matter what, we will see everyone who shows up for us.”
