Teresa Giudice shares details about her repaired friendship with The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG, Danielle Staub after years of not speaking.
Teresa Giudice is dishing on how she repaired her friendship with The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Danielle Staub. Teresa and Danielle’s rocky relationship has been followed since season, even since Teresa infamously shook the table at Danielle in the show’s early years. When Danielle returned to RHONJ in season 10, she and Teresa were thick as thieves. However, all that changed after Danielle pulled Margaret Josephs’ hair and accused Teresa of encouraging her to do it.
The messy fallout was the last time Teresa and Danielle were on speaking terms. However, Teresa recently revealed the start of her repaired friendship with Danielle. In the October 26 episode of her new Namaste B$tches podcast, titled “Spilling the BravoCon Tea,” Teresa’s co-host Melissa Pfeister made mention of the Bravo star recently speaking with “another OG” Housewife. Teresa didn’t keep her listeners anxiously waiting as she quickly revealed, “Danielle texted me.”
Teresa’s Kind Words Prompted Danielle to Reach Tout
Leading up to the text, Teresa recorded an earlier episode of her podcast where she responded to a fan-submitted question that asked which OG she would rather bring back on RHONJ, Danielle or Caroline Manzo. Teresa, of course, named Danielle, considering her age-old feud with Caroline. Once Danielle caught wind of Teresa’s kind words, she returned the love via text message. “She said, ‘I heard you’ve been speaking kindly about me lately. I wanted to say thanks, Teresa. It’s appreciated,’” Teresa explained. “I said, ‘I always have,’” Teresa told Danielle in response.
Teresa’s update teases the potential for Danielle’s return. The two have always managed to come back together despite their countless fights over the years. Teresa could use some support in the friend department when it comes to her presence on the show. Teresa is no longer speaking to her brother and sister-in-law Joe and Melissa Gorga. While Margaret and Jackie Goldschneider attended Teresa and Luis Ruelas’ wedding, the two are known for being on the opposite side of the fence as Teresa. Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania are Teresa’s only two remaining friends in the cast.
Should Danielle return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she could provide Teresa with some support. However, Danielle is known for stirring the pot and turning a small quarrel into a messy showdown. Danielle and Margaret also can’t stand each other. If Danielle were to return as a friend of Teresa, it would only further ignite Teresa and Margaret’s onscreen feud. Teresa already has family drama to tend to. Hanging out with Danielle could spell more trouble than Teresa can handle at the moment.
