spin-off story in the “Fifty Shades” collection by author EL James will be released this year.
Information via personal Instagram page, author EL James said: “The highly anticipated spin-off book Fifty Shades Freed will be released this summer and will retell the story from Christian Grey’s perspective”.
The author adds: “Save the date! Fifty Shades Freed , as told by Christian, will be available in North America and the UK on June 1. Pre-orders will be available soon at many of your favorite booksellers. Release dates for other regions will follow.”
EL James also shared her excitement about the new book. The author expressed: “I am so excited to announce the publication date of Fifty Shades Freed . This story is about love, something my readers have been eagerly awaiting. For me, as for the character Anastasia Steele, Christian is a challenging character, easily infuriating but still extremely fascinating.”
“It’s exhausting to get into the mind of this character, but I’ve tried to explore aspects of Grey’s life in the new Freed . We only got a glimpse of those thoughts in the original trilogy, and now we can follow Grey’s emotional development in response to Anastasia’s love and forgiveness,” said EL James.
The Fifty Shades trilogy , which includes Fifty Shades of Grey , Fifty Shades Darker , and Fifty Shades Freed, was a huge success, and the films based on the books were also box office hits. The first film earned over $571 million worldwide, the second film earned nearly $377 million , and the final film earned $371 million .
So it’s no surprise that there’s a lot of anticipation for this new novel. Many fans can’t wait until summer.
