No One Knew: Nicole Kidman Was There for Jennifer Aniston When Things Got Really Hard

Jennifer Aniston is grateful for her friendship with Nicole Kidman.

The Morning Show star, 55, took part in a roundtable discussion with The Hollywood Reporter alongside Kidman, 56, as well as Jodie Foster, Brie Larson, Naomi Watts, Ana Sawai and Sofía Vergara.

During the conversation, Aniston recalled that Kidman’s presence on the set of their 2011 movie Just Go with It proved valuable for her.

“It’s so true,” Aniston said, after Larson, 34, noted that she has made a point of making friends with other women in the industry during her career.

“And not even having to do with the work, but just life,” Aniston added, before addressing Kidman directly: “When we did that movie in Hawaii, you helped me out on a lot of hard things that I was going through. Just to have that community, it’s very helpful.”

Kidman appears in the movie as Devlin, a woman whom Aniston’s character Katherine attended college with whom they run into during a group trip to Hawaii.

Just Go With It marked the first movie longtime pals Aniston and Sandler made together. They later starred in the Netflix 2019 comedy Murder Mystery and its 2023 sequel.
