Sanctuary

Sanctuary Netflix

Sanctuary is a Japanese drama TV series. It’s the story of Kiyoshi Oze (Wataru Ichinose), known as “Enno”, a juvenile delinquent who uses his impressive physique and skills in martial arts to become a sumo apprentice, though his focus is on money, fame, and a woman, not the sport itself, so he skips practices and constantly defies his more experienced seniors, leading him to be branded as a “hopeless” case. Enno soon finds himself on a collision course with a voiceless wrestler who is keeping a secret, and with time, Oze realizes there’s a lot more to sumo than money and everyone knowing your name. Also starring in Sanctuary are Shota Sometani, Shioli Kutsuna, Pierre Taki, and Koyuki.
