Having escaped torture at the hands of Adrian Creel (Jay Ali), soldiers were ready to kill Tennant and Kate when Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) came to their rescue.
NCIS Los Angeles fans were delighted to see the rapper reprise his role in the spin-off after the Los Angeles-set series came to an end in 2023.
With Agent Hanna returning to the NCIS Universe, fans are now keen to know if this means Cool J will be returning to the part full-time in NCIS Hawaii.

NCIS: Los Angeles fans were thrilled to see Agent Sam Hanna brought back to life in the season two finale of NCIS Hawaii, however, this won’t be for the long term.
LL Cool J shared himself following the end of the second outing that he would be back for the third series but only as a recurring character.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote: “Couldn’t keep Sam Hanna off the case for too long!
“Starting tonight, Sam Hanna will join forces with the @ncishawaiicbs team as a recurring guest star in the upcoming third season.”
