‘NCIS’ First Look: McGee and Laroche’s Dinner Party — Meet Laroche’s Wife (PHOTOS)
The upcoming dinner party in NCIS is set to stir some tension. Throughout the season, McGee (Sean Murray) has been growing suspicious of Gabriel Laroche (Seamus Dever), the newly appointed deputy director at NCIS, who seemingly got the position McGee wanted. Now, viewers will get a glimpse of what happens when the two men meet off the clock.
In an exclusive reveal, TV Insider reports that Brooke Lyons will guest star in the April 14 episode of NCIS as Laroche’s wife. The episode, titled “Killer Instinct,” will air after the show takes a break on April 7 for the NCAA championship. In this episode, the NCIS team captures the hitman known as “The Poet,” but the focus shifts to a personal dynamic when McGee and Laroche share a tense dinner together.
This is the episode that executive producer Steven D. Binder had teased in December, hinting at aGuess Who’s Coming to Dinner-style gathering with McGee, Laroche, and their families. Binder explained, “It’s one thing to hunt down a guy or be suspicious of him at work, but when he’s in your home, it becomes a lot more entertaining.”
While McGee and Laroche’s off-duty interaction promises to be intriguing, there’s also a big case at the heart of the episode. As part of the investigation, Torres (Wilmer Valder
rama) will go undercover as a hitman to track down another assassin. Binder also hinted at some fun moments during the episode.
Though Kasie (DionaReasonover) won’t be attending the dinner party, she’ll still be in the loop on all the gossip. Reasonover shared that while Kasie doesn’t get an invite, she’s always eager for the inside scoop: “Kasie is privy to all the hot goss, and that’s where she wants to be.” Additionally, Reasonover expressed her excitement about filming scenes with Margo Harshman, who returns as McGee’s wife, Delilah. The actress noted that Kasie will have some great moments with Delilah, who she looks up to.
The dinner party promises to be a memorable one with plenty of drama, humor, and potential for McGee and Laroche’s already complicated relationship to unfold in new ways.
