On February 13, 2020, the Love Is Blind pods opened for the first time. The Atlanta-based individuals entered the experience without any prior example and figured out whether or not “love is truly blind.” Turns out, it was for two couples. With two success stories emerging from Season 1, the audience and later contestants alike have praised them for being the blueprint for the series.
Another couple that has been lauded as one of the franchise’s prime examples is Alexa and Brennon Lemieux. With an immediate connection, the Texas-based couple quickly became the stars of Season 3. With a glimmer in their eyes and a shared sense of humor, no one debated what would happen at the altar. They bonded over their love of shakshuka and truly made people believe in the magic of Love Is Blind.
Ahead of the five-year anniversary of the hit Netflix dating series, Swooon will be highlighting some of our favorite Love Is Blind couples in our newest video series Blind Items. Alexa and Brennon are kicking off Swooon’s Love Is Blind celebrations. Two and a half years have passed since their season aired and so much has changed.

Still as in love as ever, the two have expanded their family. Their daughter, Vienna, was born on July 31, 2024. The couple had a memorable 2024, but what’s coming up for them in 2025?
Besides their joyous home life, the two have also expanded their ventures into the business world. Brennon began his own insurance company under the Goosehead umbrella. He proudly explained, “I sell everything except for health in all 50 states. Alexa proudly gushed, “He has something of his own, and he’s been really passionate about it and wants to figure out a way to help people.”
She continued, “He started that this month [January]. He’s been focused on that, and then I’m just focused on raising baby girl and trying to convince them to have another one with me.” Alexa and Brennon were one of the first Love Is Blind couples to have a baby, and it sounds like they have plans for more kids in the very near future.
When it comes to their free time, they are set on spending some of it watching the next installment of Love Is Blind, which will premiere on February 14. “We’re big fans of the show,” Alexa said.
This season, however, they’ll go back to their origin story and try a new viewing experience. “We still watch every year. We’re actually going to try watching this year,” Alexa began. “You’re going to tell her?” Brennon quickly followed.
“Yeah, we’re going to try. We’re going to watch it with a blanket over the TV to get the full experience, and not see anyone, and then wait for after the reveals, and then go back and rewatch,” she stated.
The reason why they’re doing it? “We’ve seen that happen on TikTok and stuff,” Brennon said. “We really wanted to do it every year, but it just hasn’t happened. So we get excited.”
They are even taking it back to their own time in the pods, “We’re gonna get notebooks out and take notes on everybody.” (Does anyone else wonder what their notes will say?)
Alexa and Brennan were one of two Season 3 couples to get married. “I didn’t know she was going to say yes,” Brennan admitted. Alexa added, “He reproposed to me every single day.” Swoon!
