Netflix launched Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 on March 13, bringing together a group of 30 hopeful singles who began their adventure filled with vulnerability and passion, and it’s time to look at who left the pods engaged. The first season, which premiered on January 12, 2024, featured 33 participants, but only three couples made it to the altar. With Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 underway, there’s hope there will be more love stories. Jessica Almenäs returned to her hosting role, guiding the cast members throughout the experiment. Emotions ran high as deep conversations unfolded in the pods.
Dishonesty threatened to derail the process even before the cast members got to know each other. Jakob Grünberg quickly gained the Love Is Blind villain title after he lied to Emmelie Abrahamsson and Karolina Finskas. He found himself entangled in a messy Love Is Blind love triangle with Emmelie, but tensions exploded when both women realized he’d been telling them the same things. His empty words led to a dramatic confrontation, with Emmelie calling him out for lying. While some couples hit the roadblocks, others formed a strong bond, with five leaving the pods engaged.
Karin Westerberg & Niklas Agild
They Come From The Same Place
Karin Westerberg and Niklas Agild formed a deep emotional connection, quickly realizing they were meant to be. Their bond was incredible to watch—their playful dynamic and undeniable chemistry made them a perfect match. From the first moment they met on Love Is Blind: Sweden, they realized they were on the same page about many things, including their views on family. They even hailed from the same neighborhood, Gröndal, Sweden.
Niklas admitted he was one of the last in his friend’s group to enter a serious relationship and start a family in his friend’s group. While the idea of dating multiple people in the experiment initially felt overwhelming, the Love Is Blind: Sweden reality star eventually warmed up to Karin. Over time, he shared about his ADHD, and her genuine response and support only strengthened their bond further. Expressing his feelings towards her, Niklas said:
“Karin makes me feel good in so many ways. When I’m with her, I feel calm. I feel safe. I feel happy. I feel excited. I feel a lot. I can’t even think of anything negative about her, I really can’t.”
With their connection improving with each pod episode, it was easy for Karin to say yes when he proposed. Their connection only got better and grew more after they met. Eager to take their relationship to the next level, the love birds stepped into the real world, hoping to build something lasting—making them look like real romantic hopefuls.

When Karolina Finskas and Jakob met in the Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 pods, it was love at the first talk. 38-year-old digital marketing student Karolina began the experiment, ready to find her life partner. Despite connecting with a younger partner in Jakob Grünberg—a successful 34-year-old chief marketing officer—age wasn’t a barrier, and their romance quickly became quite serious despite having Emmelie in the equation.
Jakob had made it clear that even though he felt comfortable with both women, his heart leaned more towards Emmelie. He opened up about his past to her. But things shifted pretty fast when Karolina started opening up to him, and he did the same, telling the Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 star she was the only one he was confiding in.
However, his words came back to haunt him when Karolina shared with the rest of the girls, leaving Emmelie feeling betrayed. Without waiting for an explanation, Emmelie walked away. While Karolina was initially taken aback by his actions, he reassured her that he was only exclusively committed to her, and the two got engaged. Later, as captured in the trailer above, Jakob appeared worried—perhaps hinting at a possible heartbreak ahead. It won’t be long before Love Is Blind: Sweden finale airs, and the audience can get some answers (via Netflix).

Nonetheless, she chose the man who had been her first position from the get-go—Oscar. He had also formed a connection with another contestant, Milly, whom he broke up with before committing to Alicia. While the two had a fair share of romantic moments after connecting in the pods, things started taking a different turn after the meeting. Oscar struggled to fully let loose, creating doubts about whether they’d say “I do” at the altar. As the season unfolds, it will be interesting to see how this Love Is Blind: Sweden duo navigates their relationship.
Milly & Ola Jönsson
Their Relationship Developed Slowly
Milly and Ola Jönsson’s love story didn’t have passionate declarations. Instead, it was quiet, but they did show unwavering support for one another. The couple faced their fair share of challenges, yet no matter what came their way, they always found their way back to each other. Their deep connection stemmed from growing up in small towns, where they developed a strong bond with nature early on. Ola is disciplined about his lifestyle—carefully choosing what he eats—while Milly has a more relaxed and carefree approach towards life.
Despite their differences, Milly was drawn to his intelligence. However, her growing connection with Oscar complicated things, especially when he chose Alicia. Heartbroken, she eventually reconnected with Ola, who ended up proposing. There was a stronger sense of connection when the couple met in person, making them strong contenders for the Love Is Blind: Sweden success story, much like Krisse-Ly Kuldkepp and Rasmus Hedenstedt from season 1. The couple appeared in Love is Blind Sweden: After The Altar revealed they are still growing strong.
Nathalie & Wictor Dörrich
Their Proposal Was Pure Magic To Witness
Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 featured heartfelt moments as Wictor expressed his feelings towards Nathalie. During one of their dates, he mentioned how he was looking forward to speaking to Nathalie, and she admitted she felt the same. Before their blind date, he had confessed to the cameras about having mixed feelings, stating he was a bit nervous.
“When I think about proposing…I have mixed feelings for sure like, I’m excited for this, but, I mean, you can’t help but just feel a little bit…you know, a little scared.””
Wictor shared he had slept poorly the night before as his mind was preoccupied. He expressed his eagerness to see her, calling their journey together “special,” adding he couldn’t “verbalize” the love he experienced with her. His heartfelt confession before proposing was a beautiful and unforgettable moment on Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2. Wictor told Nathalie she had made him feel “safe and secure,” adding she made him get “butterflies.” Their face-to-face meeting was nothing short of magical. Therefore, it would be shocking if these two didn’t get married in Love Is Blind: Sweden season 2 finale.
