Although Tim Godbee and Alexandra Byrd had a strong connection in the pods, their relationship faced a serious issue after getting to Mexico. Things were so bad Tim packed his bag, ready to leave. However, the couple set their differences aside and decided to work on their relationship and look like they were on the right trajectory.

When Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka’s relationship hasn’t been smooth sailing. They connected and went their separate ways in the pods before reconnecting and getting engaged. However, when she met him, Hannah wasn’t impressed with Nick’s physical appearance. She stated Nick had led her on by creating this masculine footballer’s body, which was the opposite of his appearance. Upon returning to DC, Hannah was still unconvinced Nick was a responsible adult. She even stated she was more mature than he was:

She didn’t like Nick’s lack of contribution to their apartment or that Nick still lived with his parents. There were several moments when Hannah challenged Nick. Marissa George and Ramses Prashad seem to be the most realistic couple in Love Is Blind. When discussing their wedding ceremony, Marissa, a navy veteran turned lawyer, and her soon-to-be husband Ramses, who works for a justice reform non-profit organization, clashed over religion and politics. Ramses is somewhat religious, but Marissa isn’t.

She also didn’t want a lot of religious aspects at her wedding. Based on this conversation, it was easy for the Love Is Blind audience to pick out that Marissa was, at one point, Mormon. Marissa said she thought she would get married in a “Mormon temple.”

Marissa told Ramses that though she was in the military, she didn’t condone some of its operations. Ramses, who moved to the US from Venezuela, which has a long and complicated history with America, held a harsher view of how the military worked. Ramses told Marissa’s friends if she went back to the military, he’d divorce her. They also disagreed about the morals they wanted their kids to have, but one Love Is Blind couple that would have a solution to all their problems is Marissa and Ramses.

Marissa’s mom didn’t like Ramses’ looks. She also questioned whether Ramses relied on Marissa’s money and her law degree to take care of the kids later in life. She added that she didn’t believe marriage was forever and asked Ramses and Marissa if they should get a prenuptial agreement. Marissa’s mom clarified she had nothing against Ramses and wanted to protect her daughter.

Later, Marissa’s mom threatened to cut off Ramses’ private parts if he hurt her daughter. Marissa’s mom seemed to mean every word she said, which shocked Ramses. She presented herself as a tough-nonsense woman—hopefully, she will not interfere with their relationship, as they seem like a pretty compatible pair.

Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans have become Love Is Blind season 7’s most compelling couple. Their similar career background made it easy for the two to hit it off from the start. As a coincidence, Taylor and Garrett have scientific-related tattoos. Garrett, a quantum physicist, has a Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle tattoo on his arm, whereas Taylor, a clean energy policy consultant, has a hydrogen mole tattoo.

However, no matter how perfect this Love Is Blind couple seems to be, their families are hesitant. Garrett’s family had their guard up while meeting Taylor, to the extent that his mom cried. Tim and Alex’s dad’s interaction has to be one of the best moments in Love Is Blind season 7. Tim got ready to meet Alex’s family. Before the meetup, Alex asked him to “leave the proposal out” when talking to them since her dad, Richard Byrd, had no clue. After talking with the whole family and sharing a meal, im asked if he could speak to Alex’s dad in private and read a letter he had addressed to him. An emotional moment left Richard and the Love Is Blind viewers in tears (via Love Is Blind Netflix).

“I’m gonna gather my thoughts… She’s my baby girl. We just met. But I believe in you. And I believe what you have written, what you have said. I believe that came from your heart, and, I accept you as my son.”

This was the same letter Tim had read to Alex in the pods, but they told Richard it was initially addressed to him. Alex and Tim have had an incredible connection from the start. They will most likely walk down the aisle and live a happy and fulfilling life.
