Law & Order: SVU season 25 adds new cast member

Law & Order: SVU has added a new cast member for its upcoming 25th season.
Actor David Krumholtz has confirmed on Instagram that he’s joined the series, sharing a photo alongside Ice-T and writing that he “LOVED working on L&O SVU these past couple weeks”.
TVLine has confirmed he’s booked for a guest stint, but we don’t know yet how many episodes he’ll be appearing in.
Krumholtz has quite the CV to his name already, having starred in Oppenheimer, The Deuce, the Harold & Kumar trilogy, Addams Family Values, Sausage Party, Numb3rs and The Santa Clause films.
He’s also appeared in Law & Order: SVU before, featuring in a season 12 episode as a man who falsely confessed to murder to protect his girlfriend, who was the one who actually did it.

He also featured in a season 4 episode of the original Law & Order.
As SVU returns for its 25th season, the original series comes back for its 23rd season and Organized Crime returns for its fourth.
It was recently confirmed that Breaking Bad star Dean Norris will be appearing in the new Organized Crime season. He has a recurring role as Randall Stabler, Elliot Stabler’s older brother — and there’s definitely going a lot of brotherly tension going on.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Donovan won’t be in the upcoming season of the parent show, having exited the cast due to reported creative differences.
It’s unknown if and how the show will address Detective Frank Cosgrove’s departure.
