When Lang joined B&B in March 1987, little did she know that 38 years later, she’d still be with the show. Throughout her legendary career, she’s won many awards and has been nominated for three Daytime Emmys. Her character, Brooke, is still one of the show’s leading ladies and is involved many storylines.

Fans have watched Brooke go through many transformations over the years. She went from a girl from the Valley to a luxurious life in the Forrester family. She’s had many relationships, including marriages to Eric (John McCook) and Nick (Jack Wagner). But it’s Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) who is her destiny and that she’s always chasing after.
Brooke’s quest for love often led to heartache for others and feuds with Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Stephanie (Susan Flannery). When Brooke’s not busy dealing with her love life, she inserts herself into her daughter Hope’s (Annika Noelle) life.
After nearly four decades on the show, Lang’s character has been through a lot. No matter what the writers have in store for Brooke, the actress brings it in every scene.

In an interview with Grazia, Lang reflected on her soap opera career.
“I hope people are moved, entertained, and delighted by my work,” she explained. “We do what we do for the viewers, and their attention is our greatest reward. Maybe we can provide them with some escape from the stressors and pressures of daily life-taking them into a fantasy world and giving them a little relief from the reality of life.”
Lang continues to do what she does best by entertaining B&B fans as the legendary Brooke.
