
Jamie Dornan revealed Emily Blunt has become a “friend for life” after the pair filmed a movie together in Ireland last year.
The Fifty Shades star described it as “a dream scenario” to work with the Mary Poppins Returns star, on his home turf, on a John Patrick Shanley creation.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie, who is currenty starring in new film ‘Endings, Beginnings’ added: “Yeah, to be able to say John Patrick Shanley’s words, which are magical, and to do it with the likes of Emily and Christopher Walken, while shooting in Ireland where I’m from, was one of those dream scenarios.”
Directed by Shanley himself, romantic drama also starring Jon Hamm and Christopher Walken was shot in Co Mayo in October 2019 and is due for release in 2021.
The cast were a major hit with locals in the area during filming, with Blunt gaining major popularity amongst Irish fans when she visited a local kids drama group to give them advice.
