Grave Matter: Who Kills Young & Restless’ Crazy Aunt Jordan?

With remarkable efficiency, The Young and the Restless’ Crazy Aunt Jordan™ has racked up a long list of misdeeds, from poisoning half the Newman family to chaining Sharon in a sewer. In Wisconsin. In winter. Without so much as a sweater. Yup, the villainess isn’t just bad, she’s whatever is worse than bad. But judgment day is at hand. The only question is who will end her reign of terror for good?

Jordan ruined Claire’s whole life by kidnapping her away from her parents as a newborn. At this point, the young woman knows that her aunt will never stop wreaking havoc — not until someone stops her. To that end, Claire has vowed to put Jordan in the grave.

Thanks to Jordan, Victoria missed out on the chance to raise her daughter into something other than a henchwoman. On top of that, if only to ensure that Claire doesn’t do something she might regret, Victoria may take matters — and Jordan’s neck — in her own hands.

As if we didn’t know that Jordan is crazy, she proved it when she targeted the great and powerful Victor Newman’s family. In retaliation, he could off the psycho, tell the world that she was too disturbed to go on living and not lose a moment’s sleep.

If Cole catches wind of Claire’s murder plot, he’d surely leap into action to see that she didn’t cross a line that she couldn’t uncross. But doing so might put him in the perfect position to get rid of Jordan himself. Like Victoria, Claire’s father has motive galore.

Nikki thought that Jordan’s late sister Eve had been a handful. Ha — she was just the opening act for the madness that Jordan has brought into Nikki’s life. The hellion cost Nikki her sobriety and damn near her sanity. Translation: If she kills Jordan, it won’t be in air quotes like when she killed J.T. and Diane!

Ian has cast a shadow over Mariah’s life since the day she was born. When she learns that Jordan has been his instrument of destruction, Mariah could find herself in a precarious enough position to kill her family’s tormentor before she herself is killed.

To review: Nick was almost murdered by Jordan. His mother was pushed off the wagon by Jordan. One of his ex-wives was kidnapped by Jordan and the other, nearly killed by her. Yeah, we’d say that Nick has more than enough of a reason to want to help Claire’s aunt follow in Ashland’s footsteps.

Daniel was just going about his business, living his life, when boom! Girlfriend Heather was killed. The shocking act of violence would be enough to push anyone to the brink. And if all of a sudden he found out whodunit — Jordan — he could go all the way over the brink.

Perhaps no one has a greater motive to rub out Jordan than Sharon. The nutjob messed with Sharon’s bipolar meds, framed her for Heather’s murder and Phyllis’ attempted murder, and left her to freeze her butt off in the sewer. Cameron’s killer (twice!) could probably even get the crime written off as justifiable homicide!

Tessa already feels like a dingbat for having been suckered by “kindly” Ian. Should she find herself being conned by Jordan, Mariah’s wife would surely quickly snap out of it and confront the villainess — with dire consequences.

Phyllis will do anything to tip the scales of justice. Somebody has to pay for Heather’s murder and her own near death behind the wheel. When Phyllis discovers who’s behind both crimes, the loose cannon who once mowed down Christine is highly likely to fire in Jordan’s direction.

No one except maybe Harrison himself was more traumatized by his abduction than mom Summer. If she had half a chance, even a quarter of a chance, to lower the boom on Jordan, you can be damn sure that she’d take it.

Faith already knows that Jordan gave a heart-attack drug to her father, aunt and grandparents. When it comes to light that Jordan also kidnapped Sharon, Faith might go to extremes to prove that she’s no longer afraid of Genoa City’s unhinged criminal element.

Lucy has struggled mightily in the wake of mom Heather’s demise. Would Sheila Carter’s unstable granddaughter exact revenge against Jordan if she wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time? Questions don’t get much more rhetorical than that.

Kyle hasn’t forgotten that Jordan kidnapped his and Summer’s son, Harrison. Plus, if he gets clued into girlfriend Claire’s plan to murder the maniac, he might intervene, digging Jordan grave himself to guarantee that his honey’s life won’t be further upended.

When Ian no longer has any use for Jordan — and that day is coming fast — he could let her take the fall for the many plots he’s hatched, then fit her with cement shoes before she can convince anyone that she was only acting on the orders of her partner in crime.

Assuming someone has informed Noah of what Jordan has done to his family, he could surprise us all by sneaking into (and back out of) Genoa City, removing the threat she poses with uncommon finality, and never getting busted for or even suspected of his actions.
