Gordon Ramsay Shares Daughter Holly’s Wedding Date and the Heartfelt Moment Adam Peaty Asked for His Blessing

Gordon Ramsay has revealed that his daughter Holly will tie the knot with fiancé Adam Peaty this Christmas.

The TV chef, 58, appeared on this Saturday’s episode of The Jonathan Ross Show and teased details of his daughter’s impending nuptials

The restaurateur confirmed: “It’s going to be a Christmas wedding and they’re looking at areas and venues and lots of planning.”

Ramsay went on to recall the moment the Olympic athlete asked for “permission” to marry Holly in Cornwall, describing the moment as “amazing”.

“Not really permission but he’s a very nice guy,” he said when asked by Ross how the “permission” chat went. “He’s so down to earth and so focused and disciplined.

“He sat us down in Cornwall.”

The TV chef continued: “He said ‘Holly is just the perfect woman. I’d like to get your blessing – from you and Tana for her hand in marriage’. It was that sort of amazing moment.

“Everything went quiet. As a future son-in-law, we couldn’t ask for anyone better.”

When asked how preparation for his father of the bride speech is going, Ramsay joked: ‘It’s going to be something short and simple – don’t f**k this up!’

Before adding of the couple, he shared: “He’s so grounded. Those two get on so well. It’s a blessing.”

Ramsay and Peaty, who went public with their romance in 2023, announced their engagement in September.

In her Instagram announcement, Ramsay, 25, proudly displayed her stunning gold and diamond engagement ring, while both complemented each other’s posts by including bible verses after the swimmer revealed religion had saved him from addiction.

Alongside a series of snaps, the influencer confirmed: “I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you.

“Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife.”

She also mentioned Peaty’s son, George, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Eirianedd Munro.

“I promise to always be there with you and George, I’m so grateful [sic] to be in his life and I cannot wait for more,” she continued.

“Everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you. Here’s to forever. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13.”

Ramsay, the second eldest daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, and the Olympic gold medalist went public with their romance, three years after they first met in 2021 when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing alongside her sister, Matilda.
