NEWS BRIEF: US streaming service Frndly TV will co-launch the forthcoming History Channel documentary series American Godfathers: The Five Families, executive produced and narrated by Emmy-winning actor Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos).
Based on Selwyn Raab’s book of the same name, the 3×60′ series dives deep into the history and impact of New York City’s five mafia families. Set to launch on History Channel and Frndly TV on August 11, it includes exclusive interviews and archival footage.
