Friends’ Courteney Cox reveals details about what the reunion will actually be 🙌

When the Friends reunion was announced this month, let’s be honest – we all just about fainted at the news. After the show ended in 2004, the cast and crew have been hounded about news of a potential return to the characters, but each of them had remained zip-mouthed on the matter.

That is until each of the six main actors – Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc – each shared the news on Instagram that a reunion would be happening soon!

However, we weren’t clear on exactly what the reunion would entail, and whether it would be a brand new episode with the actors in character as Monica, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey.

Thankfully, Courteney (AKA Monica) has confirmed what we can expect from the reunion, which is expected to air in the US in May.

In an interview with Kevin Nealon on Hiking with Kevin, Courteney explained, “So the exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it’s going to be on HBO Max, and I’m so excited.

“We’re going to have the best time. It’s going to be great. We really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had. It’s gonna be fantastic.”

Although we’re a bit gutted that we won’t be seeing where each of the characters are in their lives 16 years after the show ended, there have been rumours that a new series could be commissioned based on the popularity of the reunion special.

So, it’s pretty much guaranteed, right?!
