Just a few days ago, Howie Mandel made his way to Jimmy Kimmel Live. Alongside guest host Anthony Anderson, Mandel had a lot to discuss. Fans noticed during the interview that Howie was in fine form, and reverting to his older ways, using edgy material throughout the interview. Though one joke in particular didn’t make the cut, and the edit was noticeable.
Howie Mandel discussed a slew of topics with Anthony Anderson, including working with Cleto Sr. in Vegas, the art of overacting, Drake and Kendrick’s rivalry, hosting two podcasts, and of course, his time as a judge on America’s Got Talent.
For the live audience, one of the most memorable jokes didn’t make it to air. The moment takes place at the 2:45 mark below.Anderson congratulates Mandel on becoming a grandfather for the third time. He responds, “I just had my third, thank you.” The camera then does an awkward cut, and Anderson continues on with his next question. It seems like Mandel’s hilarious response got the boot.

Along with a successful career in entertainment, Mandel’s marriage longevity is truly remarkable, with his wife for over 40 years. However, during his interview on Live With Kelly and Mark, the AGT host looked back on a gruesome injury his wife suffered while tipsy.
It seems like the couple partied a little too hard.
“We partied. It was too much. She was tipsy. I did not know that, and in the middle of the night she got up and, I don’t know where she was headed, but she headed into the wall. She fell and hit the wainscoting,” Mandel recalled.
“She hit that as she went down. She slipped, went down, hit that on her eye, fell on the floor, and broke her cheek.”
Mandel later revealed that his wife was using marijuana gummies during her partying… A forgettable night for the couple in the end.
