Don’t expect any new episodes of FBI: International in January 2024

The wait for our favorite broadcast shows to return continues. When will the wait for FBI: International Season 3 be over?

While a lot of Dick Wolf shows are returning in January 2024, FBI: International is not one of them. None of the FBI shows will be back, and that’s due to a network decision rather than a show one.

CBS has opted not to bring any shows back in January. With production of shows starting after Thanksgiving, the network wants to make sure there is time for all the main shows. We’ll get a full week of premieres straight off the back of the Super Bowl.

While that means FBI: International Season 3 won’t premiere in January 2024, we don’t have to wait too long for it. We’ll get episodes in February 2024 instead.

When will FBI: International Season 3 premiere on CBS?

The new episodes will air starting Tuesday, Feb. 13. As usual, FBI: International will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT in between new episodes of FBI and FBI: Most Wanted.

What can we expect in the new season? Well, there aren’t many details just yet. What we do know is that we’re losing an OG cast member, and that could be in the explosion that rocked everyone at the end of the second season. Heida Reed will leave the show some time early on in the season. Is it a permanent goodbye for Jamie Kellett?

There does seem to be a new team member joining. Christina Wolfe is joining the show as a series regular. While her character hasn’t been announced yet, it’s telling that one OG cast member is going. This opens the door for Wolfe’s character to be an agent joining the Fly Team.

Will there be any crossover events? That isn’t clear, but there is always the chance for a cameo here and there. We usually get them with Isabel or Valentine from the main series, but there is always the chance that someone from the Fugitive Task Force will have a case for the Fly Team.
