On Tuesday, Wahlberg took to Instagram to share a teaser for Boston Blue, the upcoming spinoff set to premiere this fall on CBS. “So excited to carry on the tradition, to share so many surprises, to answer some unanswered questions and to welcome all of you — to Boston Blue!” Wahlberg wrote, confirming the highly anticipated continuation of the Blue Bloods universe.

Boston Blue follows Danny Reagan as he transitions from the NYPD to a new post in Massachusetts, where he’ll be partnered with Detective Lena Peters—described as the oldest daughter in a storied Boston law enforcement family. While the role of Lena has yet to be cast, the setup promises a dynamic mix of legacy, fresh perspective, and classic police drama.
