Don Diamont shared a great photo of himself and Eric Braeden, giving the universal symbol for strength, and wishing him a happy 84th birthday.
Fans of The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden announced that he had kicked cancer in the butt and was back to work in December 2024. He’s always posting on social media how strong he is and sometimes shares his workouts. The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont is also amazingly physically fit, sometimes checking in on “workout Wednesdays” to talk fitness with the fans. Diamont recently celebrated his soap opera colleague, and it was fun seeing the two together.
Birthday Love Was Everywhere
On Instagram, Diamont posted a pic of him and Braeden smiling and holding up their fists in the Y&R star’s signature pose. He captioned it, “HAPPY 🎉84th 🎉 @ericbraedengudegast! Still kicking ass and taking names! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️.” Birthday wishes for the star came from all over.
Even from abroad, the fan love poured in for Braeden, with one fan responding, “Happy Birthday Eric 🎂🎉🎊💙 Love watching you on Y&R every day for the last 45 yrs !! Love from Canada 🇨🇦.” The followers wished the Y&R star many more happy years, and another called him by his character’s name, writing, “Happy birthday, Victor Newman😍.”
He’s Strong As Ever
Just a few short days prior to Diamont’s post, Braeden shared a pic of him with boxer George Chuvalo on his own Instagram page, captioning it, “On one of my last trips to Canada, I visited with GEORGE CHUVALO, one of CANADA’S greatest fighters, who was NEVER knocked down in his ENTIRE CAREER against the likes of ALI, FRAZIER, etc! Have enormous respect for that warrior! Now, GEORGE is in a home somewhere in TORONTO! BREAKS MY HEART!”
One fan shared the positive news: “He is still going; his heart is strong. As he would say, ‘Keep Punching.’” Another follower mentioned the fact that Braeden lost his home in the LA wildfire, responding, “You are Canada’s friend, Mr. Braeden. I wish you the best rebuilding your precious home.” But overcoming that tragedy just illustrates the actor’s strength and indomitable will to overcome the odds.
