There’s a general rule in daytime, that when folks start talking about a missing character on a soap, that person is going to pop up again soon. Perhaps very soon! That’s what we’re seriously thinking is about to happen with The Young and the Restless‘ Noah. It makes sense, of course, that Nick and Sharon’s son, who hasn’t been seen since 2023 will be on our screens shortly.
The family’s been planning a trip to London to visit him. And while that could happen off-screen, we’re not so sure it will. And even if it does, it seems like there’s a pretty decent chance that they’ll be returning to Genoa City with Noah in tow! What makes us think that?
Well, Rory Gibson posted a photo over on his Instagram stories the other day of him sitting, in what looks to be a dressing room with a script in his hands. And it kind of looked like a Young & Restless dressing room!
While this isn’t proof positive that he and Noah will be back, the timing of that photo along with the London trip, definitely has us sitting up and taking notice. Of course, if Noah does pop up on our screens again, the next question will be: How long?
As we just talked about a few weeks back, the show seems to have struggled coming up with compelling story for him in the past. But this could be the perfect time to change all that!
Right now, his grandfather, Victor is trying to convince Audra to seduce Kyle away from Claire. In return, she’ll get a division of Newman to run. Bringing Noah back to reconnect with her — for real — would throw a wrench into Victor’s icky plan and annoy him to no end. And since it’s Victor’s own grandson who would be messing up the plan, the drama just about writes itself.
Yes, when Noah left town, he went with Jack’s surprise granddaughter, Allie, but there’s nothing saying they stayed together in the years since. Plus, for all we’ve heard about how Noah and Audra share a tumultuous, messy past, we’ve never really gotten to see it. So bringing their past into the present could give us that chance to find out just how hot and heavy they can get!
